Succulent

A succulent is a water-retaining plant adapted to arid climates. Succulents store water in their leaves, stems, or roots, and some can go for long periods without water. Most succulents are native to dry, arid regions such as deserts, but some are found in wetter habitats such as rainforests. Succulents come in a wide range of shapes, sizes, and colors, and many are popular as houseplants.

Succulent plants are often grown as ornamental plants because of their unique appearance.
