Lemon Lime Peperomia is a truly gorgeous evergreen, boasting striking variegated foliage in deep greens in the hearts of the leaves melting into lime-lemony yellows. The fleshy, blunt leafed foliage is often mistaken as a succulent due to her thick leaves storing water.This favourite of interior designers offers incredible colour contrast indoors or out, and divinely low-care requirements. • Healthy Live Plant: The Latin genus name originates from the Greek words ‘peperi’, meaning pepper, and ‘homoios’, meaning relating. The Peperomia ‘Lemon Lime’ resembles and is in the same family as the black pepper plant!
• Sunlight Requirements: Keep this plant in rooms where the temperature is a comfortable 60°F-75°F and avoid cold drafts or air vents below 55°F. They thrive in warmer and humid temperatures with plenty of humidity.
• Watering: Use filtered, bottled, or tap water sitting 24 hours to release the chemicals and water enough that the water discharges out of the drainage holes. Once the water is fully drained, replace them into the cache or decorative pot. When the plant is registering a 3-4 on the soil moisture (dry side), it is time to water!
• Growing Instructions: This plant has a small root system so too much fertilizer will burn the plant. You can fertilize three times a year in the spring, summer and fall. Apply at half-strength a balanced, liquid fertilizer especially formulated for indoor plants during the growing season and let them rest in the winter.
